Celebrating Wins: Big and Small

This year has been a big one for us at Beansprout, with moments of pride and progress that we’re thrilled to share. Among our achievements:

• Supporting more ambitious business owners than ever before to gain clarity on their finances and take actionable steps toward their goals.
• Building a stronger community—connecting like-minded business owners who are learning, growing, and thriving together.
• Being published in the national Your Business Magazine, and many local publications.
• Moving into our first office space and appointing our first member of staff.

It hasn’t all been smooth sailing (we’ll get to that in a moment), but taking the time to celebrate our successes has reminded us why we do what we do.

Acknowledging the Challenges

Every year comes with its fair share of challenges, and 2024 was no different. For us, the biggest hurdle has been navigating the world of marketing and social media  to get ourselves visible and build a brand.

As accountants these skills don’t come naturally and it has taken hours of learning, persevering and testing what works. Believe me when I say at times there have been tears and it has felt very overwhelming. But we leaned into the challenge, we learnt to adapt, embraced new systems, and reminded ourselves that challenges are simply opportunities to learn and grow.

Lessons We’re Taking Forward

This year reinforced something we’ve always believed: clarity is the key to confidence. Whether it’s helping our clients understand their financial position or defining our own goals, clarity drives action—and action drives results.

Another big takeaway? You don’t have to do it alone. The best solutions often come from collaboration, whether that’s with our team, clients, or our wider community. We have embraced the use of other experts to help us grow our business and invested in coaching and training to enhance our own skills.
